Clapham Park Homes was created to regenerate a rundown housing estate at the heart of Lambeth. A new masterplan aims to deliver a better neighbourhood environment.

The Clapham Park Estate is Lambeth’s New Deal for Communities Neighbourhood. It suffers from significant social, economic and built environment issues. The planning application of the Masterplan was supported by an Environmental Impact Assessment and outline planning permission was granted in September 2008.

The masterplan proposed 2,422 homes and 18,316 sqm of non-residential floor space. The mixed-use scheme also provides a primary school, a health centre, a library, a sports hall, small employment units and local retail centres.

The planning application for the masterplan required collaborative working with a large multi-disciplinary team as well as extensive consultation with residents, community interest groups and key stakeholders including TFL and the GLA.
