Our first commission of five residential units and a club house for client The Duncan Trust was so well received by their residents that we were asked to design three more new homes for adults with learning disorders. We achieved the resulting houses and hydrotherapy pool – which feel nothing like an institution – through sensitive design and regular consultation with residents to create personalised colour schemes, and develop individual specifications, for each of their new homes.
