Envisaged as the centre piece in a proposed regeneration scheme for Newbury Wharfside, the pavilion will replace much of the outdated Victoria Park facilities as well as providing an arts orientated community building to attract visitors into the wharf area.

The design is intended to be incredibly sustainable, using passive heating and cooling technologies together with planted sedum roof and walls. A timber louvred front facade cloaks a glazed elevation - creating not only a brisesoleil for the public areas but also a visual dynamic that will change the lighting inside the building throughout the day and provide a point of interest within the park at night.
