Appointed to design nine new residential apartments in an adjacent development to the Grade II Listed Speen House, we were asked for accommodation of “exceptional quality”. The resulting new-build flats, which won a Daily Mail residential development award, sit elegantly alongside the imposing Speen House, and are of timeless, contemporary design. They neither imitate or detract from their neighbour, but fuse together the old and the new.
