We re-interpreted and refurbished a collection of office/storage and distribution buildings to create Fountain House, Vodafone's technology and demonstration facilities. The result is a completely flexible office and laboratory showcase environment, located inside an inconspicuous existing warehouse. The refurbishment comprises a mezzanine structure accommodating a new office space above glass-fronted laboratories, set around a two-storey open atrium. The levels are linked by a bespoke-designed steel staircase.
